Read Me Windows INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE To install, simply run INSTALL.EXE found on the CD-ROM from the Program Manager by choosing FILE-RUN. The installation is totally non invasive and consists solely of creating a Program Group and Icons which point to the applications on the CD-ROM drive. Remember that these icons will not work unless the CYBER PEEP CD-ROM is in your drive! Once the install is complete, simply click on the CYBER PEEP icon in the Vista St. Entertainment Program Group to begin. A NOTE ON YOUR NEW ICONS 1. CYBER PEEP- This is your CYBER PEEP application icon, simply double click on this to begin. 2. Read Me- This notepad file will bring up this read me file for any further reference neccesary. 3. Movie Player- This application can be used to view the movie files (.MOV) directly if you so desire. WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF POOR PLAYBACK 1. If playback speed is insufficient, the QuickTime files (.MOV) can be played directly using the Movie Player application (the icon should be in your Vista St. Entertainment program group). 2. Make sure Windows is using a display driver that will provide 256 colors or higher. This application is not designed for 16 color displays. 3. Certain high-resolution video cards may require updated driver software to function properly with Quicktime for Windows. Contact your video board manufacturer to see if newer driver software is available. 4. If the program loads in the wrong colors, try quitting, and setting the wallpaper to none in Windows-Control Panel-Desktop. 5. The Sony CDU-31A CD-ROM player shipped with Gateway Multimedia systems before 1994, have reported problems in playing back QuickTime for Windows files. If you should encounter this problem, please report it to Gateway and/or Sony.
